Why Life is So Cruel

The lexicon of life does not dote on every chap with the plush of glee and ecstasy. It betrays us -Most of us - all the times. It hits us hard, hard at the core with its deceitful conduct. And we, hapless creatures, encumbered by our tested endurance, and appalled by the persistent ordeal, stagger and trip, and get up again to on our pegs to toss up the sole query to the azure, " Why the heck is life so cruel to us?"

Sometimes as a human being, I ponder earnestly upon the plentitude of misgivings we manage to muster through the brief cameo of our existence. We never complain, or we do -Occasionally, but not once, we let it come to fore. We simmer, simmer silently, in the furnace of compulsory subsistence bound by the unremitting proxies of composure and calm until our patience fades, and we can take it no more. We, then, gradually make it a practice to blame the invisible for every misadventure we attain in our daily expedition.

Does this approach ever help us to disentangle the labyrinth of complexities and compulsions that are prepared to yank us back into the domain of distress? For us, the primary question invariably remains intact - Why has life been so cruel? Was our making meant to be a mere stint of agony and pain, or do we own a purpose -A design that could accord a meaning to our sustenance?

Perhaps, answers to these questions are as testing to figure out as chopping off the wings of a sparrow, and asking her to take a comfy trip to the blue. All of us are invariably prone to these knotty riddles at least once in our lifetime, and life recompenses the souls who come out victorious with spot-on answers to these perplexing mysteries of existence. No doubt, you have been treated unfairly by the circumstances, you too command an equal chance to mend your ailing providence with a reconditioned trajectory towards harmony and delight.

This is ridiculously easy, as easy as having a cup of tea. But to have this leisure you need to look at yourself rather than enmeshing yourself in the maze of oblivion and distrust. People who discover brilliant rejoinders to the posers of survival are in no way different from us. They are just hopeful. They are confident about changing the cards of the game, and this belief grants them the requisite pluck and mettle to achieve the bounty for their sweat.

Over time, we pucker a lot of cynicism and mistrust to be able to put up a suitable match to our holdups. This renders us lackluster and incompetent, even to easiest of the hurdles we come across. We need to change this. We need to amend our perspective if we really aspire to turn the tables. Whether or not we are going to come out victorious should not hold us back from putting up a sound fight to your circumstances. Only this stance can equip us with the ability to rebound and claim our lives back from the fangs of uncertainties. Reading the biographies of great men or drawing inspiration from true life stories might not help everyone, as most of us have already had fought back with valor, and have certainly left no stone unturned in trying out every bit of our resistance before the ultimate surrender. The only thing that can suitably motivate us is our own self.

Do not infer that we have to sit down and start introspecting. This is the predominant angle echoed nonstop in the motivational lectures apparently never bearing fruits in the real life. Just knowing that we have given your best, and none other than us is capable of doing better will be enough to restore our long lost agility. Others have certainly not bumped into comparable footraces in their trip, and we are blessed in having the chance to call ourselves the pluckiest combatants of this amazing sphere.

Life has been harsh upon us, but who cares. We will relax and let it do its bit. We never mind friends jeering upon us, or rivals furtively waiting for their turn to disparage us. We are impervious. We are tough. We have enough of our share of cake, and we are going to show to them who the boss is. We take our time. We devise our plan. We get up again. This time with a new verve, with a fresh dash, and with a titivated blueprint. We are out to regain possession of our lives - it has no business being cruel to us.
